Luthers Rose Lutherans and The Bible
The reformation returned The Bible to its central position as THE authority on all matters of Faith and doctrine.
As Lutherans, we accept the Truth of the Bible, and the Bible clearly states that we are saved from hell and damnation by Faith in Jesus Christ. That is so important to understand, it should be repeated and clearly understood:

THE ONLY THING THAT SAVES MAN IS BELIEF IN CHRIST

The Bible is the very Word of God. We accept it's perfection, and accept its teachings in their entirity. Scripture is the only thing required for proper interpretation of scripture.

Christ did not come into this world to set an example for how we should live, he came to purchase our salvation through his suffering and death. What Christ says IS important, and we need to read, study, and understand it.

Because of the importance of The Bible, it is the central focus of all our worship services. We Baptize our infants to bring them into the Christian Church as demanded by scripture, and all who know and adhere to the teachings of God's Word recieve the very body and blood of Christ in Communion. The book of Concord codifies our doctrine.
