Educational Format
- Typical Daily Schedule (outside activity whenever possible)
- 8:45-9:00 Arrival Time
- 9:00-9:30 Bible lesson, calendar, weather, pledge
- 9:30-10:15 Teacher led activity(craft, game, etc)
- 10:15-10:30 Music
- 10:30-10:45 Snack
- 10:45-11:30 Large motor play
- 11:30-11:45 Show and Tell, Story time
- Daily Activities will include areas highlighting:
- Language- pre-reading skills ,learning letters, hearing stories and poems, etc.
- Home Living-family life, pretend cooking/tools, parenting, careers, cultures, etc.
- Science/Math-natural science(plants,animals,weather,growth and development),counting, sorting objects,patterns, etc.
- Art-drawing, painting, sculpting, chalks
- Fine motor/manipulatives-puzzles, legos, blocks, stringing beads, cutting and pasting
- Bible lessons/books-selected based on weekly themes, read and retold by teacher and children.
- Music- listening for sounds, exploring various instruments, dancing, creating rhythms
- Large motor/Outdoor time-parachute, hoola hoops, jumping, playground play, balls, games
