God's existence is evident to all human beings, the beauty and harmony of his created universe testify to this. But this innate knowledge is insufficient to satisfy man's need for the divine. Throughout all time man has attempted to grasp knowledge of God through his own faculties, always ending in failure. This futile effort has led to many religions, none of which do anything but temporarily making us feel good. Notions such as "leading a good life will get me into heaven" are nice ideas, but they come from our own flawed rationality. It is out of our own arrogance that we think WE can come to conclusions about the wishes of The Creator of the Universe.

But we were not left without a way to know what God wants of us. Throughout all history he has sent his messengers to tell of his coming.

Christ sits at the center of Human history. The Bible relates this history to us, as the infallable Word of God. The Old Testament tells the stories of the men who prepared the world for Gods coming. The New Testament tells us of Gods time on earth, through which he purchased salvation for us all by his own suffering and death. Since his time on earth his followers have been blessed above all men by following his teachings.

That Christ is the True God all men seek is something that can only be known by Faith. Faith, which is a gift freely offered to all men, is built by hearing the Word of God.
